About the building:

In addition to performing consular activities, one of the most important tasks of the foreign mission is to nurture existing economic relations and prepare new investments and investments in Hungary, as well as opening markets in the area under the jurisdiction of the consulate general. The brand new representative office in the city center of Stuttgart started accepting customers in November 2015.

About the project:

We carried out the complete acoustic design of the Consulate General of Hungary in Stuttgart, Germany. Due to the function of the building, in addition to the usual room acoustic parameters, creating appropriate speech discretion was also a really important design aspect. This allows confidential information exchange between the consular employee and the client, even when there are several other people in the waiting room. Another interesting feature of the task was that in addition to the office and customer reception areas, a room suitable for holding events and receptions has also been designed using complex room acoustics and vibration insulation solutions.
