Project Description
Content development solutions for extended- (AR) and virtual reality (VR) applications, such as 3D cameras, multi-channel spatial microphones and reproductive systems, are becoming increasingly popular and accessible with the spread of 3D video and audio recordings, as well as with the increase in computing capacity and the spread of smart devices. These sound reproduction devices are also used in the film industry, in the sound of computer games, digital instruments and in electronic room acoustics changing devices; from the ICT sector to the construction industry. Within the framework of this project, we are dealing with a technically significant area of sound solutions that can be used for these applications. Within the project’s framework, we are developing a time-variant convolutional reverb algorithm and measurement database, which can be directly utilized in audio studio technology, digital instruments, film industry, game industry and virtual reality applications. With the help of our solution, it is possible to change the acoustic parameters for better sound quality and better adaptation to human hearing when reproducing the sound fields, which is not yet available on the market. Product development based on the project’s results will be used primarily in the export market, primarily in the B2B and B2C customer segments.
