About the building

As an innovative entertainment centre, Funcity aims to bring a new dimension of recreation to its visitors. The building features a terrain table, flight and Formula 1 simulators, a state-of-the-art multiplex and 4DX cinemas, and a 500-metre long E-cart race track as well.

About the project

The acoustic challenge of the Bükfürdő adventure park was that the building consists of a single hall with relatively few partitions. The damping of noisy experience elements (robots, simulators) therefore had to be solved with a custom-made acoustic cladding on the inner surface of the façade walls. The cinema room, of course, required even more specialised room acoustics sizing, with a sound-absorbing suspended ceiling system and wall covering to provide the room acoustics required for the cinema experience.
