Our task was to assess the noise emission of an HVAC outdoor unit mounted on an inner courtyard facade, in connection with the office premises used by the National Media and Communications Authority. During the measurements, the noise emitted by the mechanical unit was examined based on the limit values ​​specified in the relevant national regulations. After replacing the unit in question with a type producing lower noise emission, we performed control measurements according to the procedures of relevant standards and legal regulations with the use of authenticated instruments.
