About the building

To create an international atmosphere the office is divided into “continents” based on decorative and symbolic elements from travel destinations around the world, and in line with the functionality of the areas. Flexible working is supported by themed recreational spaces, such as an indoor fitness room and massage room within the office.

About the project

We carried out a comprehensive room acoustic measurement and design program in the Budapest office of the fintech startup company providing money transfer service called Transferwise (now simply Wise). The Estonian company wanted excellent acoustic conditions and multifunctional use for its office in Budapest, in addition to the most complex room acoustics possible: they intended to rebuild multi-functional single-space offices which were supplemented with several floors of connected spaces and rooms separated by glass walls. We started our work with an online survey, on-site objective room acoustic measurements, and numerical acoustic modelling. In addition to the design of room acoustic treatments, we prepared a tender invitation for the design of an electroacoustic masking system in the building. At the customer’s request, we provided our service in English.
