About the building

In the 2019/20 school year, the House of Children Alternative Primary and Secondary School, the first municipally run alternative school, could move back to the renovated building complex in Völgy Street, which had been vacant since 2008 until its renovation.

About the project

Our company carried out the complete acoustic design of the Völgy Street Children’s House Primary and Secondary School. We believe, that the right acoustic environment is essential in every educational institution. Good speech intelligibility is a prerequisite for our mostly speech-based education, which can only be ensured by proper acoustic design. Due to the school environment, the creative use of room acoustic treatment for an aesthetic, inspiring effect was also an important aspect of the acoustic design.
